Alpha Lipid SD2: Resepi Sihat

Berikut merupakan resepi yang sesuai semasa diet SD2:

Try this low carb Miso & Tofu soup

300g firm tofu, cubed
100g fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
400g (1 bunch) baby bok choy, leaves washed and separated
2 tbs soy sauce
3 tbs miso paste
Splash of fish sauce
1.25ml (5 cups) water

In a large saucepan add the water, soy and fish sauce and bring to the boil. Stir in the tofu, shiitake mushrooms, bok choy and miso paste, cook for about 3 minutes or until the bok choy has wilted.
Serve and enjoy!

Each Serving; Protein: 20g Carbohydrate: 7.5g

Alpha Lipid SD2: Resepi Sihat

Another tasty low carb recipe that fits in with the SD2 programme.

Low Carb Nasi Goreng

2 cups either shredded cabbage or grated cauliflower
2 tbs peanut or sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, sliced thinly
1 tbs fresh ginger, grated
1 tbs soy sauce
Splash of fish sauce
150g of meat (chicken, peeled prawn or beef) - if using chicken or beef slice thinly, leave prawns whole
2 shallots, sliced thinly
1 carrot, diced finely
1 celery stick, diced finely
100g mung bean sprouts
1/2 cucumber, sliced into rounds
2 eggs

Fry the shredded cabbage or grated cauliflower in 1 tbs of the oil; add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce and fish sauce. Simmer until all liquids are absorbed. In a separate pan heat the remaining oil and add the meat; once browned add the carrot and celery. Cook until meat is ready. Add the meat mixture and bean sprouts to the cabbage/cauliflower mixture. Using the still hot pan from the meat - quickly fry the eggs.
Place the cucumber slices on the edge of two plates, then evenly spoon the mixture in the middle of each plate and place one egg on top of each dish.

Each serving: Protein: 23g with either beef or chicken option
OR 26g with prawn option
Carbohydrate: 7.0g

Alpha Lipid SD2: Resepi Sihat

Here's a great Low Carb recipe to try while you are on your SD2 programme...

PALAK PANEER
250G (5 cups) spinach (cleaned, washed and finely cut)
100g (1/2 cup) Paneer cubes (low fat cottage cheese)
2 tbs ghee
1 medium size (1/4 cup) onion finely cut
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Garam masala, red chili powder, salt to taste
2 tbs fresh cream

Steam spinach in a little water and cool. Mash or blend the boiled spinach in mixer to get smooth gravy. Heat the ghee in a large sauce pan, add ginger, garlic and stir-fry for a minute. Add onion and fry till golden brown. Add cumin powder, garam masala and salt, cook until fragrant, then add the spinach gravy and a little water if needed and cook for 5 minutes. Add chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes before finally adding the paneer cubes, cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.
Garnish with fresh cream

Serves 2
Each Serving: Protein: 7.0g Carbohydrate: 4.0g

Satu lagi resepi ye...nyum nyum!

Here is another fun way to have your SDII shake, remember to include the carb count into your daily allowance, great for a treat!
BERRY BLUE
2 scoops SDII powder
250ml cold water
1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 tablespoon LSA
2 tablespoons natural yoghurt
Add water first then all remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth
Each Serving: Protein: 11.8g Carbohydrate: 8.7g

Here's a great way to spice up your SDII programme, try making a smoothie with your evening shake, makes a great dessert!
RASPBERRY CREAM
2 scoops SDII powder
250ml cold water
1/2 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
2 tablespoons coconut cream
Add water first then all remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Each serving: Protein: 11g Carbohydrate: 5.2g
